Few things going on, working on a video for Top Pedigree, hitting up more radio stations, and the Production Vault update!
.: Quick News Tidbits :.
Short list of what's happened this week and what's coming up:
- We've begun filming for FoRcE oNe's music video for his contribution to the Roll Call '10 album, "Top Pedigree," featuring MooN ShynE.
- After submitting to NYU last week, we've submitted to Ramapo and Rutgers in the hopes of getting some airplay there.
- Destiny Soprano will be coming by the studio to work on tracks this Saturday.
- Kim Pingul's new song, "Heart Invasion," will be worked on the following weekend.
This week's VST effect is one of my personal favorites, especially when making boom-bap beats. It allows you to insert vinyl effects. This great plugin from Izotope can control the amount of electronic and mechanical noise, dust and scratches on the simulated record, as well as filters that simulate the era that the record would be from.
If you're a 90's NY era style producer, and/or a fan of Premo, Pete Rock, et. al., then you're in for a treat with this.
