Short list of what's happened this week and what's coming up:
- The title track from the upcoming album, "The Lyricist Manifesto," was released. The Lyricist Manifesto goes real hard, with hardcore choir samples that make this real textbook BBI. =]
- Kim Pingul will be performing this Friday at Uncle Mike's in NYC! You can peep the flyer and info by going to the blog post here.
- Kim Pingul's new song, "Heart Invasion," will be worked on soon.
- Destiny Soprano has a cover that will be worked on soon.
This week brings another kit from the Urban Fire series, Urban Fire Kit 3, which is most of the same style as 4, but there are some extra things in here that make it unique. There's a Middle Eastern folder with some ethnic sounds, amongst other things. The Machina-Ren folder is pretty interesting as well, as it's a shoutout to the popular SR-16 Drum Machine by Alesis. The Lazy Claps folder also has some interesting clap sounds that may fit certain styles.
