Welcome to the this week's edition of the MsP Mailing List!

A lot of work is being done in the background right now. The Roll Call '10 album is moving right along, with a few more tracks being worked on as we speak. We have some beats lined up as well for Black and Blue Ink.'s upcoming sophomore effort "The Lyricist Manifesto," as well as upcoming tracks from ADM and FoRce oNe. The school year is ending, so expect some more output in the coming weeks as we have members graduating (Congrats ADM, Harmony Speaks and CoCoa!) and those looking to take a much needed break from school.

So some here's some quick newsflashes for you guys so you know what to expect in the coming weeks:

  • FoRcE oNe looking to do something Kid Cudi inspired.
  • Brian Bullion's got some beats lined up ready for Black and Blue Ink. and MooN ShynE
  • ADM's been experimenting more with hip-hop, as well as his own electronic records
  • An acoustic remix to MooN ShynE's "Found Me" feat. DiMpLeZ
  • Destiny Soprano coming to the studio to finish up her contribution for Roll Call '10
  • Working on DiMpLeZ contribution for Roll Call '10

Not a lot of work to do at all. =] I also have some nice blog posts on the way because we've gotten some new studio tools in the form of an Ibanez Acoustic/Electric Guitar and a Shure SM57. Those looking to record guitars (either electric or acoustic) should stay tuned as I'm going to go over my experiences with recording both as of late.

This week on the vault, we got some nice sounding drums for you guys today. These have a blend of acoustic drums in them for an added touch. I got these from a music hobbyist friend of mine who figured I could work with them. Maybe you can too!

In addition, here's some nice piano hits, sampled from random spots. Not exactly sure where these came from, but some of these are particularly nice if you like more of that 90's hip-hop. Cut up, these might work for some Premo style production, Marley Marl, you get the picture.
