.: Quick News Tidbits :.

Before anything, we at MsP would like to take this opportunity to pay our respects to Guru, 1/2 of the legendary hip-hop group Gangstarr with DJ Premier. He passed away on the 19th, succumbing to cancer. Being a hip-hop rooted production company, not acknowledging the many achievements and contributions of Guru would make his death double as tragic. From his time with Gangstarr, to his pioneering of jazz rap and Jazzmatazz, Guru did not just leave his mark, but gave many a path to follow. Rest in peace, Guru, you will be missed.

This week's biggest news for MsP was the completion of FoRcE oNe's new song, "Top Pedigree," co-produced by and featuring MooN ShynE. This track is the first to be done for the upcoming MsP compilation album "Roll Call '10." You can peep it in the blog or on our Facebook Fan Page. More songs are being worked on, so stay tuned for those!
